A place not often visited by foreigners (I saw perhaps 2 gaijin my entire stay), Tottori-ken is surprisingly pretty place with some great seafood (but I have yet to find the fabled “bad seafood of Japan”. Not sure it exists.)

Yeah, so that is Tottori sand dune. Basically humans come from all around to see a large pile of sand…and maybe ride a camel.
